Zombie Walks and Halloween parades are held all over the world, but one that stands out is the one that took place in Kawasaki, making it the biggest parade in Japan. Around 2,200 people gathered south of Tokyo this Sunday, with more than 120,000 people attending the parade, which featured dancing, costumes and various performances.

The participants were divided into four thematic groups:

  • Futuristic
  • Zombies and horror
  • Street culture and dance
  • Drag Queens and free sexuality

This year the Kawasaki parade turned 22, having started with just 150 people in 1997.
