Ares is considered the Greek god of war and courage. Son of Zeus and Hera, he is one of the 12 gods of Olympus. Also represented as a vulture, his symbols are the spear and the helmet.

She was the lover of Aphroditethe goddess of love, and several other warriors. With Aphrodite, he fathered Himeros and Pothos, representatives of desire; Phobos, of fear; Deimos, of terror; Harmonia, of Harmony; Eros, of love; and Anteros, of mutual love;

Considered an unstable coward god, he was unpopular among gods and mortals, and was extremely dangerous on the battlefield due to his physical aggression and savagery. Because of his behavior, no city in Greece wanted him as a patron, but he was admired in Sparta, where there was a great militaristic culture.

The Trojan War highlights that Ares was a weaker deity compared to other gods, constantly being defeated by Athena. It is even said that Ares was wounded by a mortal, causing him to let out a scream. After much humiliation, he went into hiding on Mount Olympus.

People who identify with Ares tend to give in to impulses without considering their consequences or thinking about what is right or wrong.
