Hellsing is a manga and anime that shows the mysterious and secret activities of the "Hellsing Organization", which discovers and wants to destroy the plan of a small Nazi group that intends to revive the Third Reich by infesting the world with vampires and using them as soldiers.

The organization is sponsored by the British government, which aims to hide the existence of vampires from the rest of the world. Alucard, a very powerful vampire, is controlled by this organization to the point of becoming a slave to it all, no longer caring about the extermination of his own kind.

Alucard is the main character in Hellsing. He is the Organization's most powerful weapon, rivaled only by The Captain and Alexander Anderson.

Seras Victoria was turned into a vampire by Alucard to save her and since then the two have had a master and pupil relationship.

Alexander Anderson is a Vatican priest who works as a vampire hunter and agent for the Iscariot branch of the Vatican. He functions as a counterpoint to Alucard as both an antagonist and anti-villain.

Sir Integra is the leader of the Hellsing Foundation. He is calm, controlled, and handles most situations that induce terror and fear in people.

Rip Van Winkle is one of Millennium's top soldiers and a member of the Werewolf special forces.

O Captain is a member of the Millennium forces and the Waffen-SS. He is a natural werewolf, able to transform at will and fight in both human and werewolf form.
