Dandelion, belonging to the genus Taraxacum, has some other names according to the local culture: bald papa, bald grandpa, love-of-man, hope, bitter, dog lettuce or salad-de -mole. Its symbology is usually associated with hope, freedom, new cycles and detachment.

Its seeds detach easily and open to new life cycles. This feature is associated with the freedom, the unknown, adventures and new experiences.

This transformation is necessary for the birth of new flowers and this is related to the Rebirth human, identity and liberation. Just like the flower, some people are in search for a new life and that means face the new and the unknown.

Dandelion can also be related to innocence and childhood, as children have a lot of fun blowing the flower, acting with a lot of joy and carefree, something that adults need to rediscover to live more lightly.

Greek culture associates the dandelion with the strength, hope and confidence. According to legend, Theseus, before killing Minotaur, fed for 30 days on the flower to get stronger.
