Royal Enfield Launches Flying Flea: Its New Line of Electric Motorcycles

Royal Enfield, known for its iconic motorcycles, is expanding its horizons with a new range of electric bikes. Introducing Flying Flea, a brand within the brand that promises innovation and style.

A New Chapter in Royal Enfield's History

Inspired by tradition, Flying Flea makes its debut with the Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle, which features a classic design. The range will soon be complemented by the Flying Flea S6, which will have a scrambler style. The name Flying Flea refers to the history of Royal Enfield, which during the Second World War launched a lightweight 125 cc motorcycle designed to be parachuted along with paratroopers.

Design and Materials

The Flying Flea S6 is a compact electric bike, ideal for short journeys. Its design pays homage to the original model, with an elegant fork that has been modernized in forged aluminium. The frame is also made of forged aluminum, while the battery case uses magnesium, resulting in a light and robust structure.

The Flying Flea's silhouette is harmonious, with each element integrating into the whole. The fake fuel tank is not only reminiscent of traditional motorcycles, but also serves to create an aesthetic connection between the chassis and the propulsion system. The organic lines of the fins on the battery and the wrap-around fenders evoke classic Royal Enfield design.

Advanced Technology

Royal Enfield has spared no effort in technology for the Flying Flea, with 28 patents filed in recent months. The bike is equipped with a round touchscreen control panel, which allows adjustments to various riding modes, integrated ABS, connectivity and automatic updates.
